Was going to post this yesterday, but I had failed to realize (I am more than a few years out from my HS history classes) that Lewis & Clark mistakenly believed they found the Pacific Ocean on November. It would be a short-time later they actually saw the Pacific. A milestone in U.S. and World history, for better or worse.
